S Mukundan
Writing Instructor
S Mukundan holds an MA in Literary and Cultural Studies from the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. His areas of interest include South Asian studies, literatures in English, cultural studies and translation. His writings and translations have appeared in various fora including Economic and Political Weekly, Scroll.in and Muse India.
Prior to joining the Shiv Nadar School of Law, he worked on a research project associated with Columbia University, engaging in archival work and translating Tamil tracts that explored the impact of epidemics and other crises in the early 20th century.
In his role as a Writing Instructor, Mukundan envisions the classroom as a collaborative space where disciplinary boundaries are seamlessly straddled, emphasizing the pivotal role of critical thinking in nurturing proficient and confident writers and communicators.
