Debayan Bhattacharya is a Lecturer at the School of Law, Shiv Nadar University, Chennai.
He graduated with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law University, Delhi, where he
stood second in his class. He also holds a BCL from the University of Oxford, where he graduated with a Distinction and received the Law Faculty Prize for Competition Law.
Debayan is interested in the legal regulation of technology and powerful technology
platforms, and the complementary application of direct regulation, competition law, and areas
of public law. He has previously written on competition law and sports, competition law and
sustainability, constitutional law, and regulation of digital platforms.
