Nupur Jindal
Nupur Jindal is an educator and researcher with a background in English Literature. She holds an MA in English from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Her academic work engages with the cultural politics of storytelling, with a focus on retellings and adaptations and their intersections with nationalism, popular media, and religion. Her postgraduate dissertation examined how mythological narratives are reshaped through feminist lenses in contemporary literature, a line of inquiry she continues by tracing their visual and ideological transformations in Hindi cinema.
Nupur has taught writing and research to students across disciplines, including design, planning, engineering, and the humanities, both at CEPT University and IIT Gandhinagar. Her teaching practice centres on helping students develop clarity and structure in their writing through guided revision and an understanding of the reader.
As a Writing Instructor at the Shiv Nadar School of Law, Nupur sees the classroom as a space where writing is approached as a craft, shaped through consistent practice and feedback.
